When someone has suffered a traumatic event in their lives it is important that they gain the right kind of support to maximise their recovery and potential. This is particularly the case where those with a brain injury wish to look at returning to work.
However it is our experience that it is not only the person who is brain injured that needs support. This is why Share & Resolve bespoke services will have the skills and experience available which can help identify and provide support for significant others as well as employers and co workers. This is will help them gain greater understanding of the effects of a brain injury and the impact that it can have on everyday life.
We are primarily providing services to enable people who have suffered with a head injury to explore, and where applicable provide support in returning to work. However, it is our experience that gaining the understanding of significant others can have a beneficial effect on all concerned.
So we hope that the forum will provide an opportunity for all of those who have been affected by a brain injury to tell their stories, offer advice, help problem solve, both give and gain mutual support understanding.
